Stupid Is As Stupid Does

Maybe Wells Fargo should hire Forrest, Forrest Gump as CEO. I found it utterly amazing that they would yesterday try to excuse their planned romp in Las Vegas. But then today to hear them say they cancelled the trip "in light of the current economic environment." Are you serious? Do we have stupid stamped on our foreheads? I am convinced these people will never learn. Why would you not just come out and say, "You are right. This was not thought through and we should not be going to Las Vegas for many reasons. Therefore, we have cancelled our trip." Would that be so difficult? Especially since just yesterday their "spokesperson" justified the trip saying it was "part of their culture". They even went on to further state that "the Las Vegas trip was a unique opportunity...to focus on continuing to do all we can for U.S. homeowners." Oh my goodness! That is so sweet of them. Gag me!! US Rep Shelley Moore from West Virginia said it best, "Let's get this straight: These guys are going to Vegas to roll the dice on the taxpayer dime? They're tone deaf. It's outrageous." Amen.
